Mrs. Joyce Lewis Payne of South Boston, VA passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was born in Lunenburg County, VA on July 23, 1946 and was 72 years old at her death. She was the daughter of the late Hugo Osborne Lewis and the late Louise Ashworth Lewis and was married to Harvey William Payne who survives. She was an active member of First Crossroads Baptist Church. She spent her entire career in the garment industry and retired as plant manager from the former South Boston Manufacturing. She loved fishing, baking, doing things with her grandchildren, and her church.
