Laura Huskey Nichols

Laura Huskey Nichols of South Boston, VA passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 89.

She was born in South Boston, VA on May 25, 1934 to the late Landrum Crawley Huskey and the late Elma Ledbetter Huskey and was married to the late Charles Talcot "Charlie" Nichols .  She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as a former Deaconess and sang in the choir. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Ford Ross (Wayne) of Roxboro, NC, David L. Ford (Vernelle) of Myrtle Beach, SC; four Grandchildren, Laura Ross Ess (Tim) of Semora, NC and Riley Roark (Erin) of Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren, Olivia Ess, Elizabeth Ess, Evan Roark and Caroline Roark.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan H. Daniel, and Inez H. Thaxton.

A private service was held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
