Lowell Earl Powell

Lowell Earl Powell, 78 passed away on December 5, 2023.  He was born on July 11, 1945 in Chester, VA to the late Richard Joseph Powell and the late Katie Mae Coates Powell.   He was married to Carolyn Faye Keatts Powell who survives.

He retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years of dedicated service.  Lowell loved his community and served it by being a lifetime member of Cluster Springs Volunteer Fire Department where he held various positions and a member of Cluster Springs Ruritan Club.  His presence in these organizations will be missed greatly.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
