Macon Norman Fears

Macon Norman Fears of Halifax passed away May 15, 2024 at the age of 79.  He was born in Halifax County on September 28, 1944 to the late James Edward Fears and the late Novela Crews Fears.  He was married to Linda Thrailkill Fears who survives.

He was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church where he served on the Cemetery Committee.  Macon had a love for rebuilding tractors with his son and grandson, farming, bulldozing, and his family, especially his grandson Alex.   His passing will leave a void for all who knew him.
