Mamie Harris Seamster

Mamie Francis Harris Seamster of South Boston passed away January 16, 2024 at the age of 86.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on August 11, 1937 to the late William Dallas Harris and the late Blanche Walker Harris.  She was married to the late Raleigh Rudolph Seamster.

She was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church.  Mamie enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, and cooking for her family.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at 3152 T.N. Snow Rd., Nathalie, VA.
