Mary Lelia Barksdale Weatherford

Mary Lelia Barksdale Weatherford of South Boston, VA passed away June 10, 2019.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 27, 1925 and was 94 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas Barksdale and the late Irene Tanksley Barksdale. She was married to the late James Edward Weatherford.

She was a member of The Revival Center.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Danny Brizendine officiating. Burial to follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
