Mary Ann Cash

Mrs. Mary Ann Cash of South Boston, VA passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Person County, NC on June 5, 1930 and was 88 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Tommy Tucker and the late Elizabeth “Lizzie” Mason Tucker and was married to the late Edward W. Cash.   She was a member of the Dan River Baptist Church and retired from Wabash Magnetics. She loved her family and Seven Oaks subdivision and enjoyed cooking for all her friends. Mary loved South Boston and was dedicated to her friends and church family.           Mrs. Mary Ann Cash is survived by: Two daughters Kay Carter Roakes and husband Carter of Gladys, VA Gloria Worley and husband Steve of Hurt, VA One Grandchild Carter and wife Trina of Rustburg, VA Two Great Grandchildren, Grayson and Maddox Roakes of Rustburg, VA ***Preceded in death by*** Her brothers and sisters, Harry Tucker, Lula Davidson, Princess Elder, Johnny Tucker, Thomas Tucker and Beck Andrews A special grandson, Christopher Allen Holt   Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Falling River Baptist Church cemetery with Rev.
