Mary Dudley Harrison

Mary Dudley Harrison of South Boston, VA passed away June 18, 2022.  She was born in Franklin County, VA on April 14, 1940, and was 82 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Hobert Dudley and the late Doris Turner Dudley.  She was married to the late Julian Randolph Harrison, Jr.

She was a very active member of First Baptist Church of South Boston, and she was a teacher and the Director of First Baptist Church Pre-school for 20 years.  Mary was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the South Boston Garden Club. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by all those that knew her.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Susan Davis and Rev. Garrett Bowman officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service and other times at 300 Merritt St., South Boston.
