Mary Estelle Jones McLaughlin

Mary Estelle Jones McLaughlin of Scottsburg, VA passed away August 5, 2021.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on October 28, 1932 and was 88 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Alvin Maloney Jones and the late Elsie May Jones Jones. She was married to the late William Dent McLaughlin.

She was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Banister River Garden Club.

A funeral service will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Winns Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kopco officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
