Mildred Virginia S. Seamster

Mrs. Mildred Virginia Satterfield Seamster of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at her home.  She was born May 2, 1927 and was 93 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Kenneth David Satterfield and the late Mary Elizabeth Forlines Satterfield and was married to the late Louis Howard Seamster.

She was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and past member at the Center United Church of Christ.  Mrs. Seamster was retired from Burlington Industries after 30 plus years of service.

Eric Seamster (Nikki), Casey Collie (Amber), Cameron Collie (Krystle), Adam Terry (Heather), Traci Throckmorton (Joey), Stephanie Neal (Michael) and Scott Wilkins (Meagan)

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 3:00 P.M.                                                   at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating.  In keeping with CDC guidelines facemask and social distancing are recommended.

The family will receive friends at her home, 275 Cedar Lane, Halifax, VA
