Myrna Temple Overby Farmer

Mrs. Myrna Temple Overby Farmer of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  She was born

August 13, 1938 in Halifax County, VA and was 80 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Malma Overby and the late Maggie Conner Overby and was married to James Leroy Farmer, Sr., who survives.

She was a member of the Beth Car Baptist Church.

Kaleigh Farmer, Kiernan Farmer, Fallon Farmer, Kimberly Farmer, Karley Farmer and Jordan Farmer.

One sister, Doris Nan Slate

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Eldridge Cullum officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home, 2193 Mountain Rd., Halifax, VA.
