Nancy Cassada Little

Nancy Cassada Little of South Boston, VA passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on September 25, 1948 to the late Douglas Evan Cassada and Myrtle Osborne Cassada.

 She was a lifelong member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Nancy graduated from James Madison Women’s College in 1970 with a degree in Library Sciences. She worked in the Halifax County School System as an elementary school Librarian at C.H. Friend, then South Boston Elementary from 1985 – 2015. She enjoyed spending her time helping out wherever needed at the church, but especially visiting her grandchildren.

 A memorial service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Main Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating. 

 The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
