Nannie Willard Wilbourne

Ms. Nannie Willard Wilbourne of South Boston, VA passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 peacefully at her home.  She was born in South Boston on July 01, 1927 and was 91 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Homer Bryan Willard and the late Erna Gravitt Willard.  She was a member of First Baptist Church where in her earlier years she was the piano player for the youth Sunday School Department. She also was a retired supervisor with the Virginia Employment Commission and was an avid reader. Willard and wife Gwen of RichmondShe was also preceded in death by a sister, Aelise W. Doherty and one brother, M.F. Willard A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bob Balance and Rev. Susan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
