Nell Puryear Cosby

Mrs. Nell Puryear Cosby, 97, of Halifax County, VA passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. She was born January 15,1927 in Danville, VA to the late Francis “Frank” McGlenn Puryear Sr. and the late Elizabeth Walker Puryear. She was married to the late Dabney Alvin Cosby, Sr. She was of the Baptist Faith. Nell will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Hanson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
