Nicola Palumbo

Nicola “Nick” Palumbo of Halifax, VA passed away November 11, 2021.  He was born in Napoli, Italy on June 9, 1947 and was 74 years of age. He was the son of the late Francesco Palumbo and the late Antonietta Tiano Palumbo. He was married to Antonietta Montuori Palumbo who survives.

He was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church.  He was the owner of O’ Sole Mio restaurant.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paschal Catholic Church with the Father Raner officiating. Entombment to follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park, 5196 Fort Ave., Lynchburg, VA.

The family will receive friends Sunday, from 4:00 until 6:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
