Norman Wilson Garber of South Boston, VA passed away June 9, 2022. He was born in Halifax County, VA on September 26, 1932, and was 89 years of age. He was the son of the late James Milton Garber and the late Maude Wilkerson Garber. He was married to the late Virginia Glass Garber. Norman was a Korean War Veteran who served in the Army. He was a faithful member of Arbor Baptist Church. He was employed over many years selling life insurance, which was a perfect career fit as he was able to spend his days socializing and making new friends, easily his favorite pastime. In retirement he enjoyed feeding his hummingbirds, raising cows, tending a garden, swinging on the porch and spending time with family. He loved tractors, always had room for dessert, and made the best macaroni and cheese. His sense of humor, easy going nature, and gregarious laugh will be missed by all who loved him.
