Prince A. Wallace Sr of Halifax County, VA, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in NC at the age of 84 yrs. old. He was born May 27, 1936. He was the son of late William and Elnora Wallace.
Mr. Wallace worked at Craddock and Terry in Halifax in his early years and then moved on to work with various trucking companies and eventually retired from Mason Day Excavating. He enjoyed WWE wrestling (Woooo!!! Rick Flare was his favorite) along with various outdoor activities including Nascar racing, baseball, softball and definitely fishing. He coached Dixie Youth baseball in Halifax County for years when the kids played at the Halifax Elementary School.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Thomas officiating. The service will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of Buddy and Amy Campbell at 1045 Leigh McKay Trl, South Boston VA. (Outside setting)
