Randy Calvin Smith

Mr. Randy Calvin Smith of Virgilina passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Charlotte, NC on July 10, 1969 and was 49 years old. He was the son of Wayne Edmond Smith and Elizabeth Forlines Smith and was married to Beverly Cassada Smith.  He was a member of Union Christian Church where he served as a Deacon, was a member of Midway Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of Channel 25 CB Club where his handle was “Monkeywrench”.

Beverly C. Smith of Virgilina
His parents
Wayne E. and Elizabeth F. Smith of Virgilina
His brother
Carl Wayne Smith and wife Carol of Virgilina
One nephew
Michael Lee Smith of Virgilina
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Frances Forlines and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Ella Smith.

A memorial service will be held at Union Christian Church in Virgilina on Wednesday, November 28, 2018  at 2:00 PM with Rev. Norman Talley officiating.

The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at his home.
