Richard "Dickie" Vernon Brizendine, Sr.

Richard V. “Dickie Brizendine, Sr. of Nathalie, VA passed away February 4, 2020.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on March 29, 1935 and was 84 years old. He was the son of the late Frank William Brizendine, Sr. and the late Martha Ada Rice Brizendine. He was married to the late Lynda Crews Brizendine.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove.  Dickie was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved playing horseshoes.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove with the Pastor Zak Ford officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
