Robert Lewis Jones

Robert Lewis Jones of Halifax, VA passed away December 5, 2019.  He was born in Watkins Glenn, NY on July 29, 1946 and was 73 years of age. He was the son of the late Harry Jones and the late Hilda Lewis Jones.

He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He served two tours in Vietnam in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion, Post 8.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilkins and Rev. Dr. Paul Rowles officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery with Military Rites.
