Rochelle "Boodlum" Martin Smith

Rochelle “Boodlum” Martin Smith of Saxe, VA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 26, 2021.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on November 5, 1938 and was 82 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Emmett Venable Martin and the late Nellie Duffey Martin.

 

She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.  Rochelle was and will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Allen Murphy officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, we recommend wearing face masks and practice social distancing.

 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
