Ruby Irene Wilborn

Ruby Irene Wilborn of South Boston, VA passed away February 4, 2020.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on November 29, 1937 and was 82 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Harris Wilborn and the late Gaynell Lloyd Wilborn.

She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and attended Revelation Baptist Church. She was a strong independent woman with a heart of gold and was loved by all.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
