Samantha Nicole Ellington Coates of Roxboro, NC passed away January 16, 2025 at the age of 32. She was born in Halifax County, VA on February 2, 1992 to Jason Dean Ellington and Rhonda Moore Epes who survive. She was a member Highview Baptist Church. Samantha enjoyed life and embraced each day with a smile. Her children were her world, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Burial to follow in the Union UMC Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service.
