Sara Owen Wilkins

Mrs. Sara Owen Wilkins of Nathalie, VA passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Halifax County on January 10, 1954 and was 69 years old. She was the daughter of the late Cabell Emerson Owen and the late Carolyn Jennings Owen and was married to the late Cecil Brann Wilkins.  She loved all her family and adored her five grandchildren.

She will be truly missed.

Carolyn Louise Grove of South Boston
Her son
Marshall Owen Wilkins and wife Amanda of Nathalie
Five grandchildren
Gracie Grove, Patrick Grove, Hannah Grove, Ivy Wilkins, and Cecilia Wilkins

The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
