Sarah Crenshaw Wilmoth

Mrs. Sarah Crenshaw Wilmoth of Vernon Hill, VA passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 in Charlottesville, VA. She was born in Halifax County, VA July 28,1951 and was 73 years old. She was the daughter of the late Bertram Roy Crenshaw Jr. and the late Selma Hamlett Crenshaw.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee of Tultex and H&H Grocery. She loved cooking, gardening, and riding horseback. She also was quite fond of bingo. She loved all animals, especially her fury companions, Rusty, Ruby, and Max. She will be greatly missed. 

Survivors include: Her partner of over 30 years William B. “Bill” Conner of Vernon Hill, VA One son Kevin Roy Wilmoth and wife Aimee of Roxboro, NC One sister Bonnie Crenshaw Chatmon and husband Alvis of Pleasant Garden, NC Three grandchildren Jesse Logan Wilmoth, Lucas Brann Wilmoth, and Samantha Nicole Wilmoth She was preceded in death by one brother, Otha W. Crenshaw and one half brother, Kenneth Crenshaw. 

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date.
