Sheila Hope Davis

Sheila Hope Davis of Vernon Hill, VA passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 68. She was born in Halifax County on February 25, 1956 to the late Orey Kent Davis and the late Lottie Thelma Davis. She was a member of Oak Level Presbyterian Church but attended Mountain Road Baptist Church. Sheila enjoyed painting, tending to her garden and her flowers, doing crafts, shopping, traveling but most of all enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

 A funeral service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain Road Baptist Church with the Rev. David Dawson officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

 The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home between the hours of 3:00 thru 7:30 P.M.
