Shirley Osborne Epps

Mrs. Shirley Osborne Epps of South Boston, VA, and formerly of Halifax passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Sentara Woodview. She was born in Halifax County on January 30, 1925 and was 93 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Shelley Banks Osborne and Annie Steube Osborne and was married to the late Cecil Henry Epps.  She was a member of Winn's Creek Baptist Church and was a retired CNA at Sentara Woodview.  Survivors include:Brenda E. Epps, and one grandson, Dwight Carlton Epps.A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Winn's Creek Baptist Church with Rev Jim Kopco officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Winn's Creek Baptist Church on Sunday for 1 hour prior to the funeral and other times at her home, 1160 Chaffin Trail, Halifax.
