Shirley Duffer Whitt

Shirley Duffer Whitt of Alton, VA passed away January 30, 2025 at the age 79. She was born in Halifax County on November 5, 1945 to the late Berkley Jeffress Duffer and the late Sara King Duffer. 

 She grew up attending Harmony United Methodist Church. Shirley retired from J.P. Stevens after 40 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed growing and tending to her flowers, cooking, going to flea markets and especially taking care of her beloved family.
