Silas "Bobby" Robert Carter

Silas Robert “Bobby” Carter of Nathalie, VA passed away August 10, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on October 26, 1943 and was 77 years old. He was the son of the late Jesse B. Carter and the late Mary Cage Carter.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove.  He served as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force and was a member of Kerns Masonic lodge of Crystal Hill.  He was a retired farmer.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove Baptist with the Rev. Shelton Miles officiating.
