Stephen Lewis Moore

Mr. Stephen Lewis Moore of Halifax, VA passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 and Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  He was born October 7, 1954 in Halifax County, VA and was 66 years old.  He was the son of the late Roy Reeves Moore and the late Esther Ruth Lewis Moore and was married to Barbara Lindner “Bobbi” Moore. He was a member of Dan River Baptist Church, was a US Navy Veteran, and was retired from Duke Power. He was a fisherman, but his true passion was working on cars. He was a truly devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by many.

A Memorial service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Don Bryant officiating.

A visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service.
