Steven William Watts

Steven William Watts passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020 at the at the age of 69 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of John Harvey Watts and Fannie Conner Watts who made their home in Cluster Springs, Virginia. He is survived by his brothers John Eugene Watts and wife Sue of Manteo, NC, Leon Watkins Watts and wife Bettye of Alton, VA, Sister Mary Carolyn Weiss and husband Mark of Chesapeake, VA, nephews David & Jason Watts, nieces Cody Keane & Casey Weiss, grandnephews Michael, Hunter, & Jacob Watts, grandniece Julia Epperly and longtime soulmate Sandra Callahan. Steve was a generous and goodhearted man, a nature lover and talented musician with many life-long friends. Steve continued his father’s passion for country music growing into bluegrass and hosting many “Pickin Porch” concerts and benefit pig pickings.
