Thomas Olander Paulette

Thomas Olander Paulette, 84 of Halifax passed away November 30, 2023.  He was born in Prospect, VA on December 5, 1938 to the late Samuel Joseph Paulette and the late Frances Beale Paulette.  He was married to Rose Marie Carter Paulette who survives.

He was a member of Beth Car Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon, a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir.  He retired from the United States Post office after 41 years of dedicated service.  He and his wife served as campground hosts for State Parks; 10 years for Occoneechee and 17 years for Staunton River.   He was also a member of Jaycees, and Union Ruritan Club.  Thomas enjoyed NASCAR, especially Richard Petty, watching birds, being outdoors, doing woodworking, fishing, cars, and spending time with his loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Beth Car Baptist Church with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating. Burial to follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at Beth Car Baptist Church.
