Velora Redd Moore

Velora Redd Moore of Halifax, VA passed away December 4, 2022.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on October 23, 1923 and was 99 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Albion C. Redd and the late Minnie Walker Redd.  She was married to the late Willis Randolph Moore.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church and a retired beautician.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorials Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Jerry and Betty Moore, 2080 Swain Rd., Halifax, VA.
