Venetia Whitt Stebbins

Mrs. Venetia Whitt Stebbins of South Boston, VA passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 83. Venetia was born February 18, 1940, to the late Oscar Whitt and the late Gladys Long Whitt. She was married to the late Edwin Augustus “Ned” Stebbins, Jr. 

 She was a member of Arbor Baptist church where her faith meant a great deal to her. She served the church by becoming a deacon, being a member of the choir, leading vacation bible school, and assisting with Arbor Baptist Church’s Helping Hands program. Mrs. Stebbins was also fond of the Halifax County Heritage festival where she attended with her husband for many years. Venetia truly loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 6^th, 2024, 2:00 PM, at Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at Arbor Baptist Church cemetery.
