Violet Ebbert Snead

Violet Ebbert Snead of South Boston passed away peacefully at her home on July 31, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born in Harrisonburg, PA on October 4, 1929 to the late William Shoemaker Ebbert and the late Florence Lun Ebbert. She was married for 58 years to the late Otis Bowie Snead, Jr.

 She was a member of Beth Car Baptist Church. Violet retired from Tultex as an inspector. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching birds and especially spending time with her family.

 A graveside service will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. 

The family will receive friends at her home.
