Walter James Townley

Walter James Townley of South Boston, VA passed away July 21, 2022. He was born in Bland County, VA on July 18, 1946 and was 76 years of age. He was the son of the late Frank Townley and the late Edna Havens Townley. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Green Townley who survives. He attended Berry Hill Presbyterian Church. Walter worked and retired as Superintendent at Camp 23 Halifax Correctional Center. He was an avid baseball fan and will be remembered in love by all who knew him.
