Wayne Willard Covington

Mr. Wayne Willard Covington of Red Oak, VA passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Chase City Health and Rehab. He was born August 19, 1942, in Charlotte County, VA and was 81 years old. He was the son of the late Dorothy Covington. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Martin Covington.

He was of the Christian faith. Wayne’s favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren and family. In his free time Wayne also enjoyed tending his vegetable garden and watching John Wayne movies.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Saxe Cemetery, West Saxkey Rd., Saxe, VA. with the Rev. Devin Snead officiating.  The family will receive friends at of the home of Claude and Ann Covington, 2174 Mill Rd, Clover, VA 24534
