Wayne Shannon Wall

Wayne Shannon Wall of Halifax, VA passed away December 16, 2022.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 1, 1935 and was 87 years of age.  He was the son of the late Paul Wall and the late Florence Hite Lloyd.  He was married to the late Dorothy Clay Wall.

He was a member of Aaron’s Creek Baptist Church, retired from Daystrom Furniture.  Wayne was a great storyteller, loved spending time outdoors, gardening, and talking about his kids and grandkids.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Aaron’s Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Pruitt officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday at Powell Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M.
