Wayne Thomas Ward

Wayne Thomas Ward aka Hy-Top of South Boston, VA passed away June 1, 2023.  He was born in Lynchburg, VA to the late Thomas Clinton Ward and the late Lillie Mae Smith Ward on December 4, 1956 and was 66 years of age.  He was married to Sandi Mauldin Hammock who survives.

He attended the Worship Center.  Wayne loved riding his motorcycle, watching Family Feud, wrestling, and his trucking.  His passing will leave a void, but his memory will live on in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at his home with Mike Ferrell and Pastor Samantha Whitlow officiating.

A celebration of his life will follow the service.
