Willard Wayne Noblin of South Boston passed away March 11, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born in Halifax County on May 30, 1941 to the late Ruby Willard Noblin and the late Thelma Dunkley Noblin. He was married to Virginia Landrum Noblin who survives.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church where he served as a former Deacon. Wayne served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. After many years of dedicated service, Wayne retired from VDOT as a surveyor. He loved NASCAR and his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon. Until his health prevented him, he enjoyed fishing, turkey hunting, and spending time outdoors. He found great joy working in his yard, but his greatest joy was his family.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Pastor Russell Terry officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at his home.
