William "Billy" Augustus Giles McGhee, Jr.

William Augustus Giles “Billy “ McGhee, Jr. of Nathalie, VA passed away February 28, 2020.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on June 27, 1960 and was 59 years of age. He was the son of the late William Augustus Giles McGhee, Sr. and the late Carolyn Hite McGhee.

He was a member of Beth Car Baptist Church and a graduate of Averett University.  Billy was a hard worker, witty, loved talking and never met a stranger.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Holmes officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home.
