William Douglas Lindsey

William Douglas “Doug” Lindsey of South Boston, VA passed away January 23, 2020.  He was born in Charlotte County, VA on September 30, 1936 and was 83 years of age. He was the son of the late Dewey William Lindsey and the late Mollie Wilson Lindsey. He was married to Minnie Heath Lindsey who survives.

He was of the Methodist faith. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 8.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Saxe Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne C. Moore officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home.
