Wilma Smith West

Wilma Smith West age 87, of Nathalie, VA passed away March 20, 2023.   She was born in Halifax, VA on September 21, 1935 to the late William Bradford Smith and the late Ruby Hite Smith.  She was married to Thomas Elam West who survives.

She was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church, but attended Catawba where she served as Sunday School teacher and was an Acteen Leader.  Wilma enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Hunting Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her home.
